Tallymark was built out of personal necessity—

Unable to find a simple, streamlined system to manage their costs living with others, we decided to just make one. It allows those living in shared rooms, apartments or houses to completely stop worrying about dividing the cost of the water bill, or food staples, or toilet paper. All you have to do is track what you buy, and we do the rest by making appropriate adjustments to everyone's monthly rent.
